Course overview
Zero to Builder: Complete Software Development & Career Program
From your first idea to a working software product, with AI-assisted development, practical projects and career guidance.
You don't have to wait until you complete your university degree to start learning software development.
Whether you're studying in matric, intermediate, ICS, FSc or the early semesters of university, you can begin developing valuable technology skills today.
The challenge for most beginners isn't a lack of interest. It's knowing where to start, which technologies to learn, how to build practical projects and how to eventually turn those skills into opportunities.
That's why we created Zero to Builder, a six-week live training program by EmraSkills.
This course takes you through the complete journey of a software product, from identifying a problem and generating an idea to building an application, testing it, securing it, launching it online and learning how to market it.
You'll also explore freelancing, entrepreneurship, personal branding and career development.
No previous programming experience is required.
Software development has changed significantly with the introduction of AI coding agents.
Today, tools like Cursor, Codex and Google Antigravity can help developers plan applications, write code, fix errors and build projects more efficiently.
In this course, we'll teach you how to use these tools effectively while understanding the fundamentals behind the applications you create.
You'll learn how to communicate your requirements to AI agents, review generated code, identify problems, test functionality and improve your applications.
The goal isn't to depend blindly on AI. It's to understand how to use AI responsibly to build useful software.
Every successful product starts with a problem worth solving.
You'll learn how to identify problems, generate software and business ideas, research existing solutions, understand potential users and validate your concepts before starting development.
We'll also introduce basic UI/UX planning, product requirements and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
Learn how to use AI coding agents to turn your ideas into working applications.
We'll cover prompt engineering, writing development instructions, breaking projects into smaller tasks, generating code, debugging errors and improving AI-generated solutions.
You'll gain hands-on experience with tools such as Cursor, Codex and Google Antigravity.
Learn how modern websites and web applications are developed using:
Next.js, React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS
MongoDB, Supabase and Redis
REST APIs and backend integrations
Authentication and user management
Responsive application design
Git and GitHub for source-code management
You'll develop a practical web application throughout the course.
Explore how to build software for different platforms using AI coding agents.
You'll be introduced to:
Mobile Applications: React Native with Expo
Desktop Applications: Rust with Tauri
Chrome Extensions: JavaScript, TypeScript and browser APIs
These sessions will focus on practical introductory projects and understanding how different applications are developed.
Building an application is only part of the development process. You also need to make sure it works correctly and protects user information.
You'll learn:
Manual software testing
Writing test cases and reporting bugs
Automated browser testing using Playwright
Debugging and fixing application issues
Authentication and authorization
Common web security vulnerabilities
API security and protecting sensitive credentials
Basic performance optimization
You'll apply testing and security practices to your own project.
Learn how to make your application available to real users.
We'll cover GitHub, Vercel, application deployment, environment variables, purchasing domains, DNS configuration and connecting a custom domain to your website.
You'll also understand the difference between development and production environments.
Learn how businesses use automation to reduce repetitive work and connect different applications.
You'll explore n8n, webhooks, APIs, no-code workflows, code-assisted automation and introductory AI agents.
We'll also introduce blockchain fundamentals, Web3 applications and smart-contract development concepts using Solidity and Rust.
Once you've built a product, how do you help people discover it?
You'll learn the basics of:
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)
Social media marketing strategies
Meta Ads and paid advertising fundamentals
Content creation and marketing campaigns
Personal and face branding
Building professional communities and networks
Product positioning and customer acquisition
You'll create a simple marketing plan for your own application.
Explore how technology products and online businesses generate revenue.
We'll discuss e-commerce fundamentals, SaaS business models, customer research, product pricing, B2B and B2C sales, client communication, outreach strategies and basic business development.
You'll learn how to evaluate a business idea and present your product to potential customers.
Learning a skill is important, but knowing how to present it professionally is equally valuable.
We'll guide you through:
Creating an ATS-friendly CV and resume
Optimizing your LinkedIn profile
Building your GitHub and project portfolio
Finding internships and entry-level job opportunities
Understanding Fiverr and Upwork
Creating freelancing service offerings
Writing client proposals
Professional networking
Interview preparation and career planning
You'll also learn how to identify the skills you should continue developing after the course.
This is a live, hands-on course, not a collection of prerecorded tutorials.
Throughout the six weeks, you'll work on one main application and complete smaller practical exercises.
Your work will include a web application, database integrations, GitHub repository, live deployment, basic automated tests, a security checklist, an AI automation workflow and introductory projects involving other platforms.
By the final week, you'll have the opportunity to demonstrate your application, explain how it works and receive feedback.
The course is led by Muhammad Waqas, Founder & CEO of DaFi Labs (Pvt.) Ltd., with 12 years of experience in the software industry.
His experience includes software development, technical architecture, AI, blockchain, SaaS product development, team leadership and entrepreneurship.
As the founder of multiple technology products, including Empradar AI, he brings practical experience from building and managing real-world software products.
