Refund Policy

A refund request is reviewed against course usage and purchase records. The policy is designed to protect genuine purchase concerns without treating completed or substantially consumed digital learning as returnable.

Last updated: August 6, 2026

1. Policy overview

30-day request window

Requests must be submitted on time.

Usage reviewed

Progress and resource use determine eligibility.

Not automatic

Every request requires review and approval.

Submitting a request does not guarantee a full or partial refund. The criteria below apply unless a course page or checkout screen clearly states a different policy, or applicable law requires otherwise.

2. General eligibility requirements

A paid course purchase is generally eligible for review only when all of the following are true:

  • The request is received within 30 calendar days of the original successful payment.
  • Recorded course progress is below 20%.
  • No completion certificate has been generated, claimed, or issued for the course.
  • Downloadable resources, source files, templates, or other high-value materials have not been substantially accessed or downloaded.
  • The account and purchase are not associated with sharing, redistribution, payment abuse, or repeated refund behavior.
  • The learner provides the requested order details and a reasonable explanation so we can review the issue.

3. When a request may be declined

Digital course access is considered consumed as lessons and included resources are used. A refund is not intended to provide free temporary access.

Requests may be declined when the deadline has passed; progress is 20% or more; a course was completed; a certificate was issued; substantial resources were downloaded; access was shared; content was copied; or the learner has a pattern of purchasing, consuming, and refunding courses.

Change of mind, lack of available study time, failure to review public course details, or incompatibility with a learner's personal goals does not automatically establish eligibility after substantial use.

4. Duplicate charges, access failures, and legal rights

We will investigate duplicate charges, incorrect payment amounts, purchases made through unauthorized account access, and material platform failures that prevent delivery of purchased access.

If a course is materially different from its published description or remains unavailable for an unreasonable period, contact us with details. We may restore access, correct the issue, provide an appropriate alternative, or approve a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.

5. How to request a refund

Contact us from the email address associated with the purchase or open a signed-in support ticket. Include your full name, account email, course title, order or payment reference, purchase date, and reason for the request.

We normally review complete requests within 3–5 business days. We may ask for additional information necessary to validate the payment, account ownership, usage, or reported problem.

Email support@emraskills.com or use our contact page.

6. What happens after approval

Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. Card providers and banks control final settlement; card refunds commonly appear within approximately 5–10 business days after initiation, although timing can vary.

Approval cancels the related enrollment and access. Associated progress, certificates, downloads, and course entitlements may be revoked. Bank-transfer refunds may require verified account information and can follow a different processing timeline.

7. Refund abuse and chargebacks

We may deny requests, restrict purchases, or suspend accounts where evidence indicates refund abuse, account sharing, content extraction, fraudulent payment activity, or circumvention of this policy.

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us before filing a payment dispute so we can investigate. This request does not prevent you from exercising any lawful dispute right. See our Terms of Service for related account rules.
